This is a face to face sale only and you must be over 21. I’ve got tons of pics so if you want more, please let me know and I will send them to you. It is starting to get the plum color on the receiver and has slight muzzle wear at the tip of the barrel from holstering. There are some dings and scratches on the wood. If yours has the casting mark I would still give Ruger a call to find out how the revolver was configured when it left the factory. Ruger ones have a casting mark inside MR-3BD. Smaller foundaries have also offered similar brass frames. This gun was shot as evidenced by the cylinder ring and the condition of the grips. It wasnt until 1972 that Ruger offered factory fitted brass grip frames for the rest of the Blackhawk line. I have the letter from Ruger stating the ship date and the fact that the brass grip did ship at the time of order The gun was shipped in June of 1971 to the grandfather of the person I bought the gun from. It did however ship from the factory with the brass grip at the time of order, however it was not installed and was ordered as an extra grip so it does not officially letter but it is a factory Ruger brass grip. For the collectors, the gun does not letter. Unfortunately, the market for these has taken a downward swing but I expect in a couple of years that it will be back up to 1000-1200 for this gun. I have test fired 5 rounds through it and it functions flawlessly. I bought this gun a couple of years ago for it’s collector value and need to sell it now. I have an old model BRASS FRAME 3 screw Ruger Super Blackhawk (pre- warning) that has the safety conversion done to it.
